The heritage of Alex & Eliz is rooted in Hangzhou, the historic capital of the world’s finest Mulberry silk. In the early 1930s, our grandfather embarked on a defining journey, relocating his family, a team of master weavers, and top-tier machinery to Hong Kong to establish our legacy silk factory.
Though wartime hardships and the turbulent occupation of the 1940s took a heavy toll on the factory's early foundations, the true craftsmanship never vanished. Our devotion to uncompromising quality, mastery of the craft, and enduring resilience remain deeply woven into our family’s DNA.
